What it does

Most traders lose money not because they can’t read a chart, but because they trade at the wrong time. They take setups during low-probability hours, fight the market when there’s no edge, and miss the windows where the data consistently shows price moving with direction and intent.

The Futures Statistical iFVG Model solves this with a simple premise: only trade when the statistics say the edge is real.

The indicator combines two data-driven bias engines —Magic Hour and IB Bias— to determine the directional edge for each session window. When a valid bias is active, it then waits for an iFVG entry in the direction of that bias. No bias, no trade. It’s that clean.

The statistical foundation comes from 15 years of NQ futures data, independently published at nqstats.com — over 17,000 breach events and 2,571 IB sessions analyzed. This isn’t a theory. It’s documented market behavior repeated thousands of times across a decade and a half.

The Two Bias Engines

Magic Hours Engine

7AM Magic Hour
Builds a range during 7AM ET. Monitors for breakout in the 8AM window. When triggered, the midpoint becomes the directional target — and sets bias for iFVG entries.
8AM Magic Hour
Range builds during 8AM ET. Trigger window runs from 9AM through the IB period (10:30). High reversion probability confirmed by nqstats.com hourly study (61.5% overall rate).
2PM Magic Hour
Range builds during 2PM ET. Trigger window is the 3PM hour. Captures the afternoon directional move — statistically one of the highest-probability reversal windows of the day.

IB Bias engine

The IB Bias engine reads two confluences from the Initial Balance (9:30–10:30 ET): where the IB closed relative to its own midpoint, and which extreme was printed last. When both align, directional probability reaches 74–84% on the strongest setups — pushing the combined probability strongly in your favor from 10:30 AM until the target is hit.

Key features

Who it's for

You don’t need to understand statistics to use this indicator. You don’t need to know what an Initial Balance is or why 2PM has edge. The indicator already knows, and it tells you when to act.

This is the right tool if you trade US Index Futures intraday and want a systematic, data-driven approach that removes the guesswork from when to look for trades. The bias engines define the window. The iFVG defines the entry. Your only job is to manage the trade.

Beginners will appreciate the simplicity. Experienced traders will appreciate the statistical rigor behind it. The 12-month portfolio backtest removes any doubt about whether the edge is real.
